Tabitha's arrival came as a pretty big shock to Karl. As our first baby, he was used to getting all the attention. Six weeks later, he still gives us quizzical looks every time she cries as if to ask, "Why did you bring her here?" But he's coming around. One thing that makes it easier is all the new places to explore. First her bouncy seat. Now the Boppy garden gym.

Rising
Tabitha is very diligent and hard working during "tummy time," which helps her strengthen her abdominal and neck muscles.

Scrabble
Aunt Ang and cousins Max and Nate hung out yesterday afternoon playing Scrabble (both the board game and iPhone versions), reading books, and even holding Tabitha for a little bit. Karl had a nice time too in his favorite new spot - the bouncy seat!

Serenade
On Wednesday, Grandpa Herb serenaded Tabitha on the guitar with classics like Puff the Magic Dragon, Go Tell Aunt Rhody, and Hush, Little Baby, while Ryan tended to both our babies on his lap.

Awake
T spends most of her time sleeping and eating, but we had a few precious wakeful moments this afternoon before she dozed off in mom's arms for another nap.
