Last weekend, we met up with the aunties and their families at Ryan's Skokie Lagoons canoe launch for a picnic.
Tabitha parked it on the blanket for awhile, hanging out with Cousins Jack...
and Nate...
and Carter's hair...
The boys also explored the launch. Ryan pointed out the oriole nest in a tree by the water.
And showed them the boats. Later they all went out in canoes (and Jack in his own kayak!). Tabitha and I waved from the shore. This time. She'll be on the water soon enough.
